Black Void is a digital art team I've been collaborating with, from internship to contract. I assist in the technical production and post processing of these generative clouds, and lead the website redesign from concept to execution.
Air is an intriguing medium—often overlooked, yet omnipresent. Motivated by a deep concern for climate and atmospheric phenomena, the team collected atmospheric data from cities around the world and used it to generate a total of 1,000 digital clouds.These cloud-based digital artifacts were minted and released as NFTs on OpenSea, where they were quickly sold out—marking a poetic convergence of data, climate awareness, and digital ownership.
To better showcase Twin Cloud and Biosphere3 (another key project by Black Void) , we redesigned the studio’s website to embody an avant-garde brand identity and deliver a seamless, responsive viewing experience. The new design strikes a balance between clarity and atmosphere, allowing the generative artworks to take center stage while reinforcing the studio’s experimental, data-driven aesthetics.
